Four years after our excellent performing Aida mat introduction, Marigo Audio Lab has upgraded its proprietary composite mat material using a more refined embedded carbon nano-tube structure which further lowers micro levels of disc vibration.

The Virtuoso Black CD Mat incorporates unique polarizing filaments creating rapid vibrational energy decay. Also new is a semi-opaque coating which reduces EMI interference into the laser/optical system as well as dissipates static buildup– while the disc is spinning.

An audible sonic enhancement is achieved by orienting the Virtuoso Black CD Mat in relation to the direction of the label on the recorded disc being played.

Finally on Friday night I was able to really listen to the new Orpheus Feet. And what can I say, I don’t know how you did it but its amazing. In the last couple of days I’m listening to music and just amazed how footers can make such a big improvement. Honestly, I didn’t know what to expect and how can it be much better than the F6 which were already great, but yes the new Orpheus Feet are better. The improvement is all over, lower noise floor (which was already very low), more body, better bass, better space, and in total I can say more musical and exciting. It also makes the sound more analog-like and less digital. Kudos on the great work !!!

With these VX or the shorter TR Mystery Feet, you can achieve a supremely musical neutrality to the sound of any component so supported. The resulting affect is akin to floating the the gear weightlessly above the shelf preventing all interactions and vibrations from entering. That’s what these isolation feet do, subjectively. Not only does the bass tighten up and deepen, but the mids and highs become clearer and sweeter. Macrodynamics are more intense and microdynamics are more pronounced and delicate.
