“I’ve made extensive listening trials using the Virtuoso mat on CDs that I personally organized for these recordings, set in the world famous hall in La Chaux de Fonds with Orchestre de chambre de Lausanne for the Virgin & Telarc labels. I played as Principal viola in that orchestra, and I am happy to hear my musician colleagues again as never before in a recording.”

“When I first noticed that there is a new generation CD mat available, I thought how could the Aida Mat be improved upon, as it gave such a big positive shift in sound quality.
So I thought maybe I’d get a minor improvement, but how wrong was I.
I started listening with the Aida Mat to each track and then tried that track again with the Virtuoso Mat.
The difference between the Aida and the Virtuoso mat is not a marginal improvement. It is huge! I never thought that such a difference could be possible. Magic! Wow.
The Virtuoso Mat might be one of the biggest bargains in Audio. I have no idea how many thousands of Dollar you have to invest to get the same improvement with a new transport or CD Player.
Thanks again so much Ron. Fantastic.”

“Ron, I have been through 6 albums comparing the previous Aida mat to the new Virtuoso mat. For starters your new Virtuoso mat makes music sound richer with a much lower noise floor and a more spacious soundstage. That lower noise floor (silence) changes everything and good things happen. More warmth, more clarity, better tonal balance.
For instance, I have been listening to a respected recording of Bach’s D Minor Mass, known for its power. Without any CD mat used, I was disappointed. It sounded a bit congested, it lacked a low noise floor, singers were too mixed, and it really was not very pleasant. Your previous Aida CD mat made things better, but your new Virtuoso CD mat makes CDs truly enjoyable. Singers have their own space and location, the music is coherent and goes deep in my soundstage. Your new Virtuoso mat has made it possible for me to truly appreciate musical masterpieces.
Thanks so much.”

“The upgrade was evident in the Virtuoso Black CD Mat over the Aida Mat.
Musical instruments sounded more realistic and natural. I could hear more into the music than previously. Separation was better. Bass was more clearly defined and realistic sounding. Instruments appeared to be heard better in the correct space.
The Virtuoso Mat sounded much better than the Aida mat which is hard to believe as the Aida had been my reference CD mat up until now.”

“I’ve had the Virtuoso mat in the reference system for a few weeks now.
It only took one note for me to be sure that this was a major step forward. Just a simple piano note but for the first time I heard it realized with all of the attack, and above all the sustain and decay of a real piano in a live acoustic. Scale this effect up to any level of complexity and it is astonishing what a difference getting the envelope of a note absolutely right means.
Additionally, you hear the space between notes. You can hear many more levels of inflection listening to a vocalist, or the subtle changes in how much thumb pressure a bass player uses.
Needless to say the Virtuoso mat is a great success and frankly grossly underpriced.”
